In general, ANU is slightly better than UNSW. But it still depends on what course you want to do. UNSW is extraordinary in engineering (and hopefully commerce), and apparently Sydney has more job opportunities than Canberra (but also with a higher cost of living).

Study at a global top 50 university

Is UTS or UNSW better?

UNSW is better because of the following reasons: UNSW is much more rigourous than UTS. You learn things in much more depth. Currently hot computer science majors available at UNSW like Security Engineering and Artificial Intelligence are not available at UTS.

Think about it, who the fk lives around ANU? NO ONE (apologies to those of you that do, shout out to the Canbz). That pretty much means that hotties from around the GLOBE leave their hometowns to study at ANU, making ANU diverse asf.

As a rough rule of thumb, UNSW is better for science and technology, USyd is better for the humanitarian disciples.

What is the best major in UNSW?

UNSW is ranked number one in Australia for five subjects – Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting & Finance and Statistics & Operational Research (equal first).
