Is Ningguang good at C1?
Overpowered at C1
Ningguang, even without C1, can be built as a decent DPS in Genshin Impact. However, she is considered a glass cannon, who has immense firepower but is fragile when it comes to sustaining incoming damage. Her C1 unlocks the true potential of a DPS character with AoE Geo elemental damage.
For pure elemental skill scaling, we only need Def stat. Albedo is amazing at this because there's no other character competing with him over this stat, so he will always get the best Def artifacts.
Ningguang is a character that scales extremely well with high constellation levels, making her one of the burstier single target units in the game. A full Retracing Bolide set can also work.
Are Ningguang Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact? It's hard to believe that a 4-star character can be on-par with a 5-star, but Ningguang does. Her Constellations greatly increase her damage to the point where C6 Ningguang can match some C0 5-stars. With minimal field time, she can become a perfect Sub-DPS.
Ningguang's biggest weakness is her lack of AoE damage. While her damage output is impressive against single targets, there's very little she can do against a group of enemies.
C1 - Every Scarlet Seal Yanfei has reduces her charge attack stamina consumption by 10% and decreases the chance of charge interruption. C2 - The crit rate of Yanfei's charged attack is increased by 20% if an enemy is below half health.
The best Ningguang F2P weapon
We recommend Prototype Amber for this build. Its secondary stat increases HP, which benefits the Jade Screen.

One of your options for a team with Ningguang would be Bennett, who also shines thanks to his multiple capabilities. Bennett is a great Sub-DPS who can deal damage when you're letting Ningguang take a breather, but his Elemental Burst also lets him provide support when inactive.
Unless a player has a particularly well-built Traveler, Ningguang is generally the preferred low-cost 'Geo Battery' for Itto. Her Jade Shield provides a good amount of energy and its relatively short cooldown, which can be cut even further with her constellations, makes it a reliable source of particle generation.

Ningguang will benefit from Elemental Damage Bonus and Attack Bonus, but she doesn't really need Elemental Mastery buff.

Noelle or Ningguang | Fandom. I would probably keep Noelle as her heals are pretty nice in combat, but that's really just up to you, honestly. Noelle heals a crap ton and sometimes breaks those shields if you can get her Ult up consistently she'll do great. Ning just breaks those shields.

Ningguang may not be the best pair with just Gorou, but she's an amazing addition to Arataki Itto's party. Not only will she provide Elemental Particles for Itto, but she will also be a Battery for Gorou. Gorou requires 80 Energy to cast his Elemental Burst, yet he only generates 2 Particles every 10 seconds.
Eula holds the record for most damage dealt, but Hu Tao and Raiden are the closest after that, followed by Childe and other nuke burst characters with upper six figure damage totals.

Also, Ningguang is extremely effective at dishing out single target damage, which pairs well with Noelle as she tends to be better at handling groups. On top of that, they are both Geo users, so she provides that synergy bonus. If you are looking for a Geo user to accompany you, Ningguang is a great choice.
PSA #2: Both Ningguang's abilities scale off ATK. Meme her all you want, but she's a goddamn rocket launcher.
We recommend using Ningguang as your main DPS character due to the high amounts of burst damage she can deal to a single target. Ningguang works well when paired up with other geo characters like Zhongli or Albedo, as their geo elemental resonance increases geo damage.
Ningguang and Yun Jin are amazing together because they will trigger the Geo Resonance. Furthermore, as Yun Jin is highly reliant on her Elemental Burst, Ningguang can be an amazing battery for the Opera Artist.
That makes Ningguang even more economically powerful than Diluc. Ningguang is also Ganyu's boss and also the one responsible for the majestic and powerful Jade Chamber in Liyue. Her only weakness is that she's a mortal and thus has a limited lifespan compared to Adepti.
Along with her three attendants, there is no problem that Ningguang can't solve. She loves mora, with the only thing she seems to value more is the safety of the city.
The best weapons for Ningguang
Skyward Atlas: In addition to increasing the ATKNormal attacks have a 50% chance of generating an attack that does 160% of the damage of ATK ; Memory of Dust: This is the best weapon to equip on Ningguang if you play it with a character who can place shields (Zhongli for example).
Who is the best geo battery?
Anemo Traveler is a decent Battery that can reduce Elemental RES, Geo Traveler is a great Battery and can provide Crit Rate buff, while the Electro version is one of the best Batteries in Genshin Impact. Geo Traveler can offer a great 0.555 Particles per second, but Electro Traveler takes this number to another level.
In Genshin Impact, Ningguang uses her Geo powers to provide a shield to help protect her in dire situations. She is good not only at ranged fighting but can use her shield to move in close and do serious Geo damage.

But does Zhongli need them? Zhongli is easily one of the best Genshin Impact characters. He's highly favored for the utility provided by his shield, where players can go berserk on enemies without taking any damage for pretty much the whole fight.
Getting her to C1 means you'll get to use her E more often, which in turn means Ayaka will gather Elemental Energy faster, and you'll be able to use her Q/Elemental Burst more. But that's pretty much the sole benefit from her C1.

Not only is Xiao's C1 already a decent addition for his energy regeneration, but if players are doing rotation to regain his energy, it's best to switch to Xiao every time there's elemental particles flying. If he's off-field, he'll regenerate less energy. With all this considered, the C2 upgrade is unnecessary.
